Meet the Team: George Jobe

A fun paragraph

Q: What first drew you to music production?
Inspired at the age of 14, I listened to electronic artists such as French 79, Deadmau5, and Porter Robinson, desperately trying to figure out how to create a similar sound. At 16 I then took music technology A-level and founded my live and studio recording ability in mixing and mastering. Music production has been my entire life since!

Q: What song is on repeat for you right now?
"Gentleman" – Fela Kuti.

Q: What are you most looking forward to in your role of A&R Consultant?
Being able to learn and grow with new artists and see them pursue their musical vision

Allowing artists to be fully creative without the constraints of technical recording and mixing in their way

Working with a team of creative like-minded individuals who all share the passion for fulfilling an artist’s potential

Q: What’s one piece of advice for emerging artists?
Self release projects or put together demos, and then gig as much as possible: without showcasing one’s talent to the world, it’s incredibly difficult to progress and be noticed.

Q: Dream artist to join Kittoe Collective?
Tyler, The Creator.
