With a resume that includes managing an award-winning radio show and working with major acts like alt-J and UB40, meet Ben Kittoe! He's our new Artist Manager, and he’s ready to help our artists turn their visions into successful, actionable plans.

Q: What first drew you to artist management?

Even as a child I’ve always loved being around music - it sometimes feels like the only thing I could never get bored of! So the first thing that drew me to management was simply the idea of being surrounded by amazing music from amazing musicians, all the time.

Q: What are you most looking forward to in your role of Artist Manager?

Working with artists that we 100% believe in. In my experiences so far, working with artists that you genuinely are a fan of yourself makes your job feel like a privaledge.

Q: What’s one piece of advice for emerging artists?

I think the most helpful thing an artist can do is think about what is their unique definition of “success”, and what is stopping them from achieving that. Once you have that figured out, you already have an ultimate goal and the first steps you need to take.
